The Brest International Maritime Festival, so much more than just a gathering of boats.

The 2024 edition is free of the image of a festival entirely dedicated to maritime heritage. It tends to reflect all the intensity and diversity of artistic disciplines related, directly or indirectly, to the marine world and maritime territories. Dance, music, street arts, participatory workshops… a rich, eclectic program for all audiences.

A comeback for the festival

Distro ar gouel

Following an eight-year absence, the Brest International Maritime Festival is making its comeback from 12 to 17 July 2024.

In addition to the unique spectacle right around the harbour with its exceptional sailboats, heritage vessels, steamships and unusual flotillas, the Festival will utterly transform the port and the normally inaccessible military zone thanks to a wealth of entertainment and a diverse programme of art and culture.

Blending discoveries, science and technology, themed Villages and Maritime stopovers will promote heightened resonance in the dialogue between multicultural and eclectic heritage in a festive atmosphere geared around all audiences. A continuous, magical and inclusive show, it is already shaping up to be a memorable 8th edition.
