Brest, military port and operational base
This space gathers together an extensive array of French Navy professions, together with all the departments and services working daily to ensure that the ships, submarines, aircraft and marines of the French Navy can fulfil their day-to-day missions.
It will also set aside a sizeable area for innovation with the presence of the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA – French General Directorate for Armament), which prepares France’s Armed Forces for the future.
Meetings are at the heart of exchanges with the public. It is also possible to visit some combat vessels and sailboats of the Navy present on the Maritime Festivals.
